Joseph Yonke Art

This guy!

Some of you may remember my grandson Joseph as I’ve written about him here in the past. Some of you have met him in person. For those of you who don’t know him, he and I have been working at art together since he was little. He pursues his art while going to Penn State as a full-time student in the School of Communications, where he takes on a lot of extracurricular responsibilities. He has managed to accomplish a lot over the past year with his art, and we could not be prouder of him.

In October, he organized a successful solo art exhibition. And, at Penn State, he was recently featured in the Daily Collegian.

Finally, while doing all of that, he put together this web site.

I hope you enjoy his work as much as I do.

Family Affair

Does art run in your genes? I’m not sure, but here is some work from my grandchildren. I might be biased, but I’m impressed!

First up is”Dolly” from my grandaughter. She created this clay sculpture in her high school Studio Art class recently.

Below is “Urban Waterscape”, acrylic on canvas, by my nephew, a sophomore at Penn State. He created this in his spare time.
