Last week I had the pleasure of visiting Mercersburg Academy, where I spoke with students in visual arts classes.

The school, located in Mercersburg, Pennsylvania, provides an excellent environment for students to pursue most art media, with well-equipped studios and a good selection of classes. Art classes are held in Burgin Center for the Arts at the school. There is some excellent work on display in the Center as well.
The students were engaged, and I enjoyed interacting with them. Thanks to hosting teacher Sydney Caretti and her students for welcoming me
Please join me for the opening reception of my exhibit “Passages” at Gilberti Fine Art Studio and Gallery in Coraopolis on Friday, September 14th from 6-8 pm.
“Passages”, as a show theme, is an opportunity for me to show the evolution of my journey through visual arts. The show will feature new work along with selections of art that represent the different types of work I’ve created in the past.
Through the years, I’ve enjoyed experimenting and challenging myself by adding different substances and substrates into my practice. This show gives me an opportunity to share this progression.
Hope to see you on September 14th.

The Hunters, 36″x 48″, is watercolor and mixed media on canvas. It sold in the summer of 2018, but you can still get fine art prints and cards on Fine Art America.

“Hang On” is a new piece on canvas. See this one in person this weekend.
