Celebrate 40 for 40 at the Garrett County Arts Council

The Garrett County Arts Council is currently celebrating 40 years by entering every customers that spends $40 or more in one of their two gallery locations will be entered into a drawing to win a gift basket of art.  The promotion runs forty days, from November 15th through December 24th.  Customers can also purchase a chance to win the basket without a sale.  In case you missed it, here is an article in Mountain Discoveries Magazine about the Arts Council.

My original watercolor "Thirty Two Acres", picture below, is one of the pieces included in the basket.

Cards available on Fine Art America

Halloween is over, and you know what's up next... For those interested in purchasing original art, prints or cards this year, below is everything you need to know.

Western Maryland

My original art, prints and hand-signed cards can be purchased at the following locations:

The Garrett County Arts Council

The Arts Council offers two opportunities to view and purchase my work.  Original art, prints and cards are on display at the Council's pop up shop in McHenry.  Visit this earlier post regarding the pop-up shop and hours.

If you're looking for a larger piece, "The Farm" is on display at the Garrett County Visitors Center in McHenry, located at 15 Visitors Center Drive.

Penn Alps Restaurant & Craft Shop

I have some original art, prints and cards on display at the gift shop inside Penn Alps, next to Spruce Forest Artisan Village in Grantsville.  If you're planning a visit, you might consider shopping during their Christmas in the Village event on December 2-3.

Mountain City Traditional Arts

I have a couple of original bluegrass paintings, prints and cards at the shop, located at 25 East Main Street in Frostburg.  You might consider stopping by for their Winter Farm Market this weekend.

Online Purchases

If you can't make it in person, I've set up a couple of ways to purchase online.

Original art

Original art can be purchased directly from me.  Please get in touch at if you're thinking about a purchase for the holidays.  Please contact me with any questions about any original art on my website.  Or, if you saw something at my studio but can't find it online, get in touch and I can see if the painting is still available.  I will be shipping original art out of my studio the week of November 27th, so plan now if you'd like to have something in time for gift giving.

Fine Art America

Much of my work is now posted at my Fine Art America site, and all of it is available for purchase in prints and cards.

The high quality prints come in up to 15 different sizes and you can customize them with hundreds of mat and framing options.  The site allows you to sort through a variety of mats and frames, previewing your image with your selected choices.  The prints also arrive framed with the supplies that you will need to mount them onto your wall.

While all of the images are available to print as cards, I set up a Christmas Card gallery, featuring cards like "Santa", for easier holiday card browsing.   The card size is 5"x7" and they include a white envelope.  You can imprint a custom message inside the card, which I think is a nice feature.   When you click on the greeting card, make sure you choose the drop down box to indicate your quantity of cards, as the price drastically reduces the more cards that you buy.

You can find information regarding Fine Art America shipping here.  As with any holiday gift, I would recommend you get started with your plans sooner rather than later.

Thank you in advance if you're considering a purchase.  It is always an honor and I appreciate your business.
